we're currently investigating the root cause of the intermittent outages for the past day.
there are preliminary indications that point to an issue with google cloud's autoscaller and something else in the configuration of the cluster that's causing this. we've increased the minimum number of nodes but still experience outages.
this will hopefully be resolved soon
